Welcome to a new school year! I hope that each of you has had a wonderful, restful summer and is ready for another exciting year at Powdersville Middle School. My name is Margaret Robinson, and I am one of the learning coaches and ICU lifeguards here at PVMS. Wondering what a school without a pool needs with a lifeguard? Check out the video below! In addition to my responsibilities as a learning coach and lifeguard, I also have four tutorial classes for 7th and 8th grade. I have been teaching at Powdersville Middle since we opened in 1991, and this will be my 34th year of teaching. I live in the Powdersville area with my husband, Brian. We have three children-Jeffrey, who lives in Seattle, Washington, Stephen, living in Alabama, and Anna, who currently lives in Silverdale, Washington. We also have a dog who attempts to keep us entertained since the children have moved out of the house. I am originally from Alabama but have lived in the Upstate area for the last 35 years. I received my Bachelor of Arts from Furman University and have continued my education through Southern Wesleyan, Furman, and Clemson Universities. In my free time, I enjoy reading, riding my bike, gardening, cross stitching, doing math puzzles (nerdy, I know!), spending time with family, and traveling. I look forward to working with you and your child in the upcoming school year. Please do not hesitate to contact me at the above phone number or email address if you have any questions or concerns.
